My partners and I approach each wedding differently. That's because each bride and groom are different. It's your day and it should be photographed the way you want it to be.
We use a blend of documentary, traditional, and photojournalistic styles when we photo/ video weddings. Our style is often called "mixed style" and can meet the needs of any bridal couple. You should also consider our personality and the way we approach your wedding. Our ability to interact with you and your guests is an important consideration. After you meet us, I think you'll be confident in our ability to become an unobtrusive yet enjoyable addition to your special day.
We work hard to blend into your wedding, capturing the magic of your event. We also take an active role when directing the creative and traditional portraits of the bride and groom, wedding party, and the family groupings. Engagement/ Bridal Photo Shoot
This includes an engagement portrait session w/ two Photographers. These pre-wedding pictures often feature the bride and groom romantically posed at a favorite location. This is an absolute must have and makes a wonderful gift.
Also included is a chronological photographic slideshow of your most cherished moments together at the Engagement/ Bridal shoot. A perfect lead-in to the rest of your wedding story all set to a romantic underscore. What a way to start off your Montage DVD!
Engagement/ Bridal "Video Interview Love Story"
The Love Story is an interview with the bride and her fiancé during which they tell the story of how they met, and how their relationship developed to bring them to this point. Apart from the wedding vows, the Love Story is probably the most emotion-packed segment of your wedding. The engagement shoot is scheduled at your location of choice months before the wedding.
The Love Story should be set in an attractive location, either indoors or out. Gardens & parks are good outdoor choices. Museums & upscale homes are possible indoor spots. Ideally, you should find a location that has some special significance, perhaps the spot where he proposed, or the site of the first date. It can simply be shot at the bride's home, which is usually convenient for the bride and groom.
We can interview the couple together, but our experience has been that you'll get better responses if we interview the bride and groom individually. We ask each of them the same questions, and avoid any question that can be answered as a simple response. We avoid simple "yes" or "no" answers. We want them to relate a story, so we phrase the question, not as a question, but as a directive, such as:
- Tell me about yourself…just a little capsule biography (We can use this as voiceover later in the Baby through Adult photo montage)
- Tell me how you met
- Tell me about your first date
- What did your parents/ friends think of him/ her
- Tell me how the relationship deepened and grew
- When did you first know he/she was the "one"?
- Who was the first one to tell the other "I love you," and when was that?
- Tell me about how you/ he proposed
- What do you like best about him/ her? Favorite (and least favorite) attributes
- Tell me about your most embarrassing moment with him/ her
- Someday your kids will watch this video. What can you tell them about how to find the "right someone?"
- What are your plans for the future?
When cut together, the two viewpoints can be funny, touching, poignant, or all three.
Romantic cutaway shots are an important feature of the Love Story. We get footage of the couple walking together, sharing a glass of wine, playing, embracing, and kissing.
Because the bride will likely have her hair and makeup done as a test run in advance of her wedding day, this is something that we can schedule with the photographer's own Engagement shoot. By doing so, we help consolidate the bride & Groom’s schedule.
It also gives us the opportunity to study you photographically - to learn the angles to show your best. Sometimes we will step back and allow the two of you to forget we're in the background. We watch the two of you spending time together in love. Our aim is to capture your genuine smiles and spontaneous moments together. Then when your wedding day arrives, we know better than anyone else how to capture the two of you in your wedding photographs.

Ceremony & Reception Photo Montage Slideshow on DVD
A chronological photographic sequence of your most cherished moments together through the Ceremony & Reception. A perfect lead-in to the rest of your wedding story all set to a romantic underscore.
Bride Preparation at House
An entertaining yet formal behind the scenes look of the bride, family and friends as they prepare for the ceremony. We take video and pictures of the Bride, friends, family members, bridesmaids, etc. We show up when it’s convenient for you. It’s a very private moment in your home that you’ll always remember.
Bride & Groom Preparation at Ceremony
A funny production of the Bridal party doing their thing before the main celebrations begins. We go behind the scenes into the dressing rooms to capture the raw emotion (both film and pictures). This is where we capture the best shots of being nervous but better yet- the last minute advice and well wishes from your family and friends.
Couple Baby-Adult Picture Montage Show on DVD
A Baby through Adult photo montage shows the Bride and Groom growing up, meeting and falling in love. Listen to the ooh's and ahh's, the laughter, and maybe see a few tears as your family and friends view your priceless photo's from years past to the present. We ask that you submit the photos on disk (CD/DVD). Customers consistently tell us they just love sorting through their old pictures (picking the best ones to send to us). It’s all part of the story of how the Bride & Groom arrived at this day. The investment in production can be minimal yet highly profitable, while at the same time enabling you to bring new life to otherwise neglected photographs.
Videographer Interviews Bridal Party, Family & Guest on DVD
This provides an opportunity for family members, friends and guests to share words of wisdom, quips and quotes and to reminisce about special moments that they have in common with the newly weds.
